ALDOT Site Visit | Construction Progress Photos

Members of the Alabama Department of Transportation’s (ALDOT) communications team recently visited the Northern Beltline construction site to check in on its progress. During their visit, they captured several detailed photos of the project.

As we have learned from our supporters over the years, it is incredibly valuable to see the ongoing progress of the Beltline. With that in mind, we wanted to take a moment to share a few of the pictures taken by the ALDOT team. Below you will find four great photos highlighting several aspects of the project, including the impressive soil nail walls. This innovative construction technique allows the safe steepening of new or existing soil slopes. When looking at the photos, it is impossible to ignore the fact that the “Road to Jobs” is moving forward!
